On the Spectrum – Live on Stage in Bendigo, featuring Susanne Nelson

Susanne will feature in a live 90 minute panel discussion about Autism/Aspergers at the Bendigo Club on 21 May.  Susanne will be joined by Josie Wolfram (Behaviour Therapist) and Suzie Keck (Bendigo Speech Works) to discuss their roles and services within the ASD community and increase the Bendigo community’s understanding of ASD.

Susanne Nelson to help develop National Guideline for Autism Diagnosis in Australia
April 2017

Congratulations to company director Susanne Nelson on being elected to represent O.T. Australia on the steering committee of the Cooperative Research Centre for Living with Autism (Autism CRC). Autism CRC is currently undergoing research to develop a National Guideline for Autism Diagnosis in Australia. For more information and to support this research project, please click here –

Southern Education Department – Understanding Occupational Therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorders and the Medicare system to support funding / therapy options.
Facilitation of the Camberwell Paediatric Mental Health Care Network – Topic to be advised (Elisa Rough – Paediatrician presenting).


Term Three 2014

Carey Baptist Grammar School Kew presentation on Girls with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
St. Simon’s Primary School Rowville : Goal setting and support in writing Independent Learning Plans.
Facilitation of Camberwell Paediatric Mental Health Care Group – Nutrition and Autism Spectrum Disorders (Presented by Jacques Duff).
Belgrave Mental Health Care Network – Supporting professionals to understand the impact on an ASD on the family.


Term Two 2014

Susanne Nelson presented on the topic of the impact of anxiety on children with an ASD; strategies to implement in the classroom and the school yard, to Balwyn Primary School.

Susanne Nelson and Jaye van Klaveren presented to the North Eastern Mental Health Care Network.

Susanne Nelson and Jaye van Klaveren were chosen to speak at the Victorian Autism Conference.  The conference, titled ‘Changing Landscapes. New Horizons’ was held at Etihad Stadium from 6th – 8th August, 2014.  More information:


Term One 2014:

Susanne Nelson and Jaye van Klaveren facilitated the term one Camberwell Paediatric Mental Health Network Group. It was a fantastic turnout, with 18 members attendeding.
